Bank of America originates ACH files through CashPro, and like every bank on the ACH network, it accepts the standard NACHA fixed-width specification rather than a proprietary format. Common rejections and the direct fix
- Company ID or account/routing mismatch. CashPro rejects the file outright rather than processing partial batches — verify these against your origination agreement before generating.
- File uploaded but stuck pending approval. If your account uses dual-approval, a correctly formatted file will sit unprocessed until a second authorized user approves it in CashPro — this is a workflow step, not a file error.

- Missed the same-day cutoff. Confirm same-day ACH cutoff times, per-file transaction limits, and your specific approval workflow with your Bank of America treasury services representative.
